Emily Who will perform at the Children's Festival in Bologna 2024.
This event was scheduled for March 2020, so it's big news that I'll finally get to perform in Italy! To be followed by a tour of preschools in England.
Inner West Community Band Kids Proms
April 28th 9:45 and 10:45am
Our popular Kids’ Proms concert is back! Bring the kids to clap, dance, march and sing as they meet the instruments of the concert band.
The interactive concert will feature short songs including the theme song from Bluey, ‘Let it Go’ from Frozen and popular nursery rhymes.

The annual KPO Kids Proms concert is an excellent opportunity for the whole family to experience together an exciting adventure through much loved classical music masterpieces. The program is devised for children aged 3 to 10 years – with those younger and older welcome to enjoy. This is a fun-filled afternoon of entertaining music that will capture the hearts, minds and imaginations of children and adults alike, whilst inspiring a love of music.
Led by conductor George Ellis and narrator Emily McKnight (Emily WHO), this hour-long concert is presented in an entertaining and engaging way, allowing the audience to interact with the musicians and the conductor, and get up close to the instruments. Audiences get to sample some of the most beloved orchestral works by famous composers in an informal setting; perfect for those who might be new to classical music or might want to introduce someone else to it. These works will highlight the features and possibilities of each instrument and are sure to inspire those thinking of learning to play, both young and old.

Sydney Youth Orchestras
Kids Music Café is a beautiful introduction to live music and instruments for our littlest audience members.
Ignite a love of music in your little ones, with child-friendly classics from the fantastic musicians from Sydney Youth Orchestras.
Each adult ticket includes coffee and a slice of cake, so you can relax and meet other parents in a casual atmosphere.
Emily Who presents each show, to introduce little people to the different instruments and music played.

ABOUT
Emily Who is an Australian children’s performer who has recently released her fourth album of songs for young children. Emily also writes and presents annual children’s performances for the Sydney Symphony Orchestra and the Kur-ring-gai Philharmonic Orchestra.
Emily is the creator of two webseries: the Kids Couch Concert Series and Musical Pirate Adventures, on which she collaborated with Arcadia Winds.
Emily volunteers for Storyville and Books In Homes, regularly reading stories for young children.
In 2023, she performed with Bluey and Paw Patrol at Sydney Zoo and was nominated for Best Kids show at the Sydney Fringe Festival.
In 2020 Emily was selected for the Artist Meets Early Years program at the Visioni Festival in Bologna, Italy, and the Next Generation program as part of the Bibu Festival in Helsinborg Sweden. When both of these were cancelled due to the pandemic, she performed in several preschools across London.
